Working with game audio: a video | #gameaudio

So, you’re starting to work with audio, and wonders how is like to working with game audio, sound design…. it’s normal. When you never worked with something before, you normally can’t picture what is the day to day of working at a specific field.

So, a friend of mine (thanks, Daniele Araujo – aka Lenina Z) tweeted this video, called Creating Bone Chilling Video Game Monster Sounds. So, I open it, and watch, expecting to learn more about techniques of creating crazy sounds and voices…….. and comes out that the video talks little about it, but is great sharing with people that doesn’t know how it’s like to work with sound for games, a bit of the experience. So I decided to share it with you, so who has been wondering about “how it would be working with game audio” could see a little bit of a unique creative process (things doesn’t have a rule or a routine, but you can get a taste of it).

Enjoy it 🙂
